2-year old Harald's room is kept in tones of blues, greys and greens creating a calm and cosy space.

Every piece in here has a story: A new table-and-chair-set designed by Hans J. Wegner was a gift for Harald's baptism; the old Panthella lamp from Louis Poulsen comes from Harald's grandfathers first apartment; the little bear on the shelf is from when Harald's dad was a baby.

Together, these pieces create a lovely, calm and tranquil space for Harald to sleep, learn and grow.

Harald's bed, a Caravan Crib from Kalon Studios, has been with him since he was born. Now, at age 2, the mattress level has been lowered and one side has been removed to allow Harald to crawl in and out of the bed by himself.

Also seen here: A Red Panda papier-mâché mask, Willy the Wooden Horse, and the Little Prince pop-up book.

Details from the bed: The Story of Peter the Rabbit book with a handmade book mark and a BIBS pacifier in pale butter.

The beautiful handmade quilt was purchased on Instagram, and has been hung on the wall above Harald's changing table adding a soft touch to the room.

Below, a light blue mushroom lamp is placed by the changing table.

Two cabinets are used to store clothes, toys, diapers and more, and on top of one of them lies a box with four wooden puzzles.

"We've added several light sources to Harald's room, and I love the cosy effect it brings."

– Christina, Harald's mom

A few pieces of toys are placed on the shelf alongside a couple of storage tins and some of Harald's favourite books, including Palle alene i verden, The Story of Peter the Rabbit and Tante Grøn, Tante Brun og Tante Lilla.

The chair and table was a gift for Harald's baptism. The set was originally designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1944, and is known as Peter's Chair and Peter's Table.

On the table is a vintage lamp with a shade from I Blame Lulu, a couple of small storage baskets and a small wool guard.

Harald's little cuddle doll, a Pimpel doll from Nanchen, sits on the bed. Cushions add softness.

The changing table was found second hand and painted in colour Mizzle from Farrow & Ball. Brass hooks have been added to the side of the table, giving space for a jacket and Harald's little backpack. Below, on the stool, Harald's pair of suede indoor shoes.

The little bear on the shelf is Harald's dad's old bear, which still works perfectly and plays a tune when you pull the string.

Details from another corner of the room: A classic drum, a standing mobile – find a similar one here – and a blue suitcase used for storage.
