Kornelius' room is a cosy and playful room, and is a space that welcomes everyone.
In here, play is fun and made comfortable by placing a large, soft rug in the middle of the room – loved to sit on by kids and adults alike.
Colours are kept calm and warm with a pop of white.
Kornelius' room is a wonderful example of a space suited to an active 4-year-old, who loves to have his friends over to play.
A Charlie Chair in colour Sky is placed by the window, where the dark blue matches a poster bought at the Matisse Museum in Nice.
The rug is from IKEA.
Kornelius' favourite colour is green, so choosing colour for his room was easily done. The panels were kept white for contrast. All paint is from Flügger.
In the bed is an Apple Pillow from American brand Oeuf NYC, and the dark blue Knitted Whale is from Helle Høgsbro Krag. On top of the cabinet sits a large Mushroom Lamp, which adds a warm and cosy light at night time.
Over the bed hangs a pinboard from IKEA.
Kornelius' toddler bed is low to the ground, making it just as much a place to play and snuggle as it is a place to sleep.

Large storage baskets from Liewood are used to store toy cars.
A vintage desk, passed down from a family member, and a tall floor lamp from Zara Home add charm to this corner.
A large Mushroom Lamp is placed on top of the cabinet together with some of Kornelius' toys.
The white cabinet has been decorated with little animal stickers by Kornelius himself.
The practical cupboards hold toys and clothes while the top works as a shelf to display Kornelius' favourite toys.
It was important to find a soft, large rug for space, as it gathers the room and is a comfortable place to play. The wooden car is from Goki.
Wooden toys are placed on the vintage desk next to a favourite little, red car.
Kornelius just turned 4, and celebrated his birthday with friends and family.
His day was made even more special with this handmade felted birthday crown with a K for Kornelius.

A hook on the wall is a practical storage place for for Kornelius' dress up clothes. Or any other clothes when playing dress up is no longer a thing that he enjoys.
On the floor sits a small raffia basket from Rice – find similar ones in all sizes here.
